Always Look On the Bright Side of Life

So we did not Kop Number 19 this season with two more games left to be played. Once upon a time, 18 Titles looked very difficult to emulate. But it looks like the scums have done that this season. Some quarters might argue that LFC have actually won 20 Titles, the two achieved during the wars. That is another story of course.

Old red-nose infamous lash at LFC in saying he would love "knocking Liverpool off their f***ing perch" has not happened yet. To do that, he needs to win the title at least one more time. And of course also win the Champions League a few more times too, because that is one nice perch to be seated upon. So, he can continue to worry about that and continue to be obsessed about it. I read somewhere this week that old red-nose had actually modelled his teams since 1986 by LFC's standards set by our legends. But of course this could be denied and argued until the cows come home.

This season we really made the scums sweat until the final two games. Well done to LFC! There are actually so many positives so far this season that one could hold on to. We could end up with 86 points, our highest ever in the history of the premiership. We have outscored all the other teams which is another positive sign of how far we have come. We have created the momentum and hunger for greatness, and most importantly the belief that the next title is not that far away. The fans are excited and rightly so. So many good players are linked to LFC at the moment, which only points to a deep belief and not just mere hope.

With Rafa still at the helm and already planning for next season, I bet we will continue to see vast improvement and who knows, next season could be it. The two remaining games are also interesting, not only for the reason of avoiding the play-off matches in the CL next season. It will prove to the fans how committed the players are and how the players react to the situation. It will also give a chance to some player to prove whether they deserve to continue to don the LFC jersey.

So, chins up and continue to chant the mantra for You'll Never Walk Alone!
