The Spirit Of Shankly has reportedly put up two billboards like this so far and has planned for more in the city.

Anyway, ..another first by Rafa vs Wigan..It was a truly magnificent performance, true to Rafa's style..

Yeah, go ahead and blame Rafa..100% it was his fault. Rafa vs Wigan indeed! Words from people who go hiding when we win, but reemerges with short tweeter-like comments when we falter. Great Supporters these people are.

No, my friend, it wasn't 100% his fault but 80% of the blame goes to him..

You people are a bit sensitive nowadays. but seriously whats the excuse for the loss this time?

We all love LFC but the truth is Rafa isnt he man to bring glory in EPL to LFC.

We didnt go into hiding when we were winning but we purposely spared LFC of criticism even though in winning those matches (mostly) we were poor and far from convincing.

Again Rafa chose to blame the players ...its a shame really.

So the players he chosed were totally his fault eh? Tell me then why players like Drogba and Messi are not playing for us? Do not take out the issue of funds in the selection of players to play for our club.

Also, when a player whom we know is a great player but doesn't turn up in a game, would that be totally the manager's fault too? I am not supporting Rafa blindly, but when I see players like Gerrard playing like that in the game against Wigan, or Carra who like a lost soul just pumps the ball upfield, I will not outrightly say it is Rafa's fault, like you do.

But of course when we look at the bigger picture you people will say we give 'excuses'. Typical.

By the way, your excuse for going into hiding is laughable.

haha...your reasoning is even more laughable,, going by your logic, we might as well pull out of the EPL until the fund arrives. Oh yes, i forgot that Wigan spent a lot more than us on players. Thanks for the spin.

Hi Khan, it not only about winning or losing but the general display of the team. A small club like Everton with injury problems can produce a highly spirited display. Just look at LFC and judge why they play in such a manner if not because of the manager. Money is not the only issue and you always tend to claim that LFC cannot buy the likes of Messi and Drogba. You see Khan, it is still okay if LFC loses one or two games but to lose to the likes of Portsmouth, Wigan and now Lille is difficult to accept. Rafa could not whip the team to perform. I don't know what has gone wrong. Yes, Rafa is a creditable manager but when he cound not command the team to perform positively, I believe it is his own folly. Logically, any team which faces this kind of situation will replace the manager or at least ask him to take a break. The current batch of LFC players are not like those from 70's and 80's. I'm talking about loyalty and LFC spirit. There is no more family atmosphere in the club. Personally, I do not wish for Rafa to go but if the team continue to perform in this manner, I have to say goodbye to him. The fans' patience will run out soon most to most until the end of the season. Thus, if Rafa could not improve the situation, he has no choice but to leave LFC gracefully.

Agree fully with Anon 806..

Rafa can no longer motivate the players. Stop using the lack of fund as an excuse to veil his failures.

Against Lille this morning, Liv were very abject and pathetic again. (this has been going on for the whole season). WE could go to sleep watching the game, Liv offered nothing to lift our spirit.

Sadly, Rafa came out with comments that were devoid of reality. "disappointed with the result but really pleased with the effort of the players, we can still progress."

I believe he's lost the dressing room as well.

Rafa should go, the owners should go too. But Rafa should go first because he is responsible to his players and to what is happening on the pitch.

sorry, should read "responsible for selecting the players and for what is happening on the pitch"

Khan you might be a victim of Rafa's plot. Pellegrini will be sacked soon and the replacement - RAFA BENITEZ! Rafa has been plotting his own sacking since last year. Why? If he is sacked, he will receive 20 million pound compensation. If he resign, he receive nothing. That is the reason why his line up, tactics and substitution is always wierd. So, face the reality. The truth is hidden somewhere in Rafa's closet.

In Rafa we trust = garbage football, gutless performance

Rafa will happily walk to the bank with 20 million and an offer to manage Real Madrid. No one saw his plot. Yet we, the fans, are holding one another's neck fighting for this man who had proven to be a failure and self centred egoist. Come on LFC fans come to senses and get rid of this manager once and for all.

I wonder why Mr Khan is keeping very quiet....

It's time for LFC to dump Rafa and move forward. He is indeed a failure despite all the excuses he came out with to mask his failures. He is also so out of touch with reality.

I sincerely hope that all his hard core followers will come to their senses and accept the reality that Rafa Benitez is not the man to bring glory to our beloved LFC.

PLEASE DON'T SACK RAFA!
We are the representative of the other Premier League Clubs. We plea to LFC to keep Rafa so that he could give a chance to score some points to survive the league. Mr Rafa is so generous that his tactics and line up always suits us. Portsmouth, Wigan, etc. have benefited on Mr Rafa's generousity. So please don't sack Rafa so that Manu can continue to break LFC's past records.

The end is near for this fat Spanish waiter. He has single-handedly transformed Liverpool from a top 4 side into a has been. Kudos to Benitez.

What say his hard core fans?

I have never seen a stupid decision such as the one made by Rafa and it was simply hard to accept his excuse. He claims Torres was tired! Damn! Bloody fool! Could someone show him the way out of LFC please. I can't take this anymore. That bloody NGOG does not deserve to wear LFC jersey. He can't even get into my school team la. Bloody joker..

Rafa Benitez is a fraud. He is, Souness aside, the worst manager LFC have ever had in the modern era. Rafa doesn't have the correct winning mentality. His bizzare team selection, substitutions and weird strategy has not only harmed our great club but turned them into football's laughing stock.
